We flipped the switch! The “coming soon” page for our new game called MultiTurn: Co OPERATION is now set to public \o/ It’s a comedic 2-4 player puzzle-strategy game all about teamwork. 🤜🏾🤛🏻

It's like a turn-based Overcooked but more chilled and more thinky. You play as community volunteers treating patients and running the entire hospital! The experience is pure co-op. There's no competition between players, you’re all on the same side trying to heal the patients. There are enough competitive games out there so we want to focus on games that provide a nice sense of togetherness. We feel there’s too much loneliness in the world and gaming can help alleviate some of that, especially if a game is designed for people to feel good while playing together.

Conveniently, only one person needs to have the game installed. Similar to Jackbox, the game controls are on phones which means you can play and enjoy a game session with your gaming friends and with people who don’t typically play video games. Have a video call with them and screen-share if you want to play remotely.

Not everyone can download the demo yet, but we’re working on that! It won’t be public for a while, we’ll be offering closed beta access to people who join our Discord and sign up for the mailing list. Those first players will help us make creative decisions.

MultiTurn: Co OPERATION is moddable in a big way. A big part of our development efforts go into making sure our early community can get creative too. In the first version of the demo you’ll be able to:

• Make your own levels
• Add your own 3d models
• Change the gameplay scripts!
• Create packages using any of the above, bundle them together to create your custom game and then share with the community.

We’re making this game to help people feel connected socially and emotionally. The experience is all about teamwork, communication and fun. We want our development process to reflect that so we’re being very open. Over on our Discord we’ll be sharing our progress and concepts. You can help us to decide on a range of creative directions. We have a nice little team of six people and we’re happy to chat on the Discord!
